Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator Project Poster-Board
The following is a poster-board I created with the tremendous help of my supervisor. The project poster-board is a quality improvement in action, explaining the process and results of my project. Included is my plan, aim statement/goal, improvement theory, development, team/people involved, study results, the next actions and my lessons learned.
In order to have created this poster-board, I referred back to a previously created story-board from a different department and one from my supervisor. For my plan, I found an opportunity for improvement by identifying the problem and being aware of this certain problem. My goal mentioned the previous baseline number and what I am trying to achieve. The improvement theory shows the steps I took depending on the EMS agencies' answers. I then stated the 6 steps I followed from developing the survey to researching additional information. The team/people needed for this project and goal to work are included on the poster-board. Without the team, the project would not be successful. After reaching my goal for this project, results were gathered and included. The next actions state the Rules and Regulations of RI and how 100% of agencies are required to report their PECC by July 2018. Last but not least, the lessons I have learned throughout this project are included. I stated what worked and what could work for next time.
