Final Presentation
The following is my final presentation that I presented on Friday, April 27th, 2018 to my EMS team at the Rhode Island Department of Health. This presentation was created with the help of my supervisor. I have included an introduction on PECC and what it is, a recommendation from the Institute of Medicine, the problem which is not having a PECC at each EMS agency, my goal, my plan, steps I have taken, study, actions, lessons I learned through this project and my recommendation of what could work better for next time.
This presentation was created by using a Department of Health presentation template. I researched information on PECCs and the challenges faced. I included results from 2017, it being the problem that we are trying to fix. My aim statement and goal was formed at the beginning of my project, which is also known as a goal and included the baseline number of PECCs we had last year to the number we would like to increase it to this year. It was necessary to have a plan for the project, have a list of tasks to complete, include the study/results, and act on the agencies' responses.
